Boating off of Mt. Desert Island

There is no shortage of boating activity in and around Manset. Sailboats can be rented from Manset Yacht or Mansell Boat Rentals, both located along the Manset shoreline. The harbor is always a buzz with a huge variety of boats from ocean kayaks, canoes and day sailors, to beautiful Hinckly yachts and motor launches.

During the summer months there are weekly sailboat races of the Internationals that you can see from almost any point. Tuesdays (weather permitting) has tradtionally been the day to watch for schooners that come up from the Camden area.
