About the cottage
Built in 1985, this cedar-shingled saltbox has four bedrooms, two baths, and a study with an extra bed. The kitchen, dining, and living areas are combined into one grand space with a vaulted ceiling and lots of natural light, and it opens onto a deck that overlooks the harbor and mountains of Mt. Desert Island.
The first floor of the house is wheelchair accessible (master bed, bath, study, laundry and great room). The ground floor features a finished bedroom, as well as a ping pong table and dart board, access to the backyard, and ample space for dog crates.
There's also a shed for bike storage.
